About Easterseals Colorado's Rocky Mountain Village & Mayor Parker the Snow Dog

Easterseals Colorado's Rocky Mountain Village Camp (RMV) in Empire, Colorado is regarded as one of the top Easterseals camps in the country. RMV is fully accessible and used by more than 1,200 children and adults living with disabilities throughout the year. RMV is about all the things people living with disabilities do -- campers enjoy swimming, fishing, overnight camping, outdoor cooking, travel camp, day trips, arts & crafts, sports & recreation, hiking, dances, music & drama, horse-back riding, zip-lining and more! Our camp provides a safe, barrier-free environment for children and adults living with disabilities to experience all aspects of camp without usual limitations.

In 2020, Parker the Snow Dog was voted the Honorary Mayor of Georgetown, Colorado. Parker is also the official mascot of Loveland Ski Area. On top of his duties with Loveland, Parker is also known to rub elbows with various Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, and news personalities across the country. One of Parker's passions is spending time with Colorado's disabled community. The Easterseals camp at Rocky Mountain Village is a common stop for Parker where he dishes out a healthy serving of love, hugs, and slobber to the camp's amazing patrons.
