About Mountain Resource Center

At Mountain Resource Center, we believe strong families build strong communities. Since 1990, we've been committed to promoting self-sufficiency and improving quality of life for individuals and families living in the foothills west of Denver.

Based in Conifer, Colorado, we serve residents of western Jefferson County and eastern Park County. As the only community-based organization along the U.S. Highway 285 corridor offering multi-generational support, MRC is uniquely positioned to walk alongside individuals and families—helping them navigate both immediate challenges and long-term goals.

We provide essential services such as housing and utility assistance, food access, veteran support, family education, and community health programming. We’re also proud to offer a high-quality, affordable preschool with evidence-based academic and social-emotional curricula, giving children a strong start in a safe and nurturing environment.
