1 in 36 individuals are now being diagnosed on the autism spectrum in the United States. Three years ago, that number was 1 in 54. That means, every one of us, known or unknown, is impacted by autism.
Even with the increasing commonality of autism diagnoses, there is still a lack of understanding around the autism spectrum and, as a result, inadequate access to high-quality, individualized support from early childhood through adulthood.
At Firefly Autism, we understand and embody autism as an individual experience that requires individualized support. That's why every learner receives one-on-one support from a highly-qualified staff member, while working through individualized educational plans and instructional goals to maximize learning potential and success.
Through our innovative approaches and philosophy, Firefly Autism is changing the landscape of behavioral and mental health. We incorporate whole person care and wraparound services to create individualized programs that prioritize our learner’s values, which are realized through one-on-one care and available throughout the lifespan. At Firefly, we prioritize embracing our learner’s differences and supporting their needs. We value our learners for who they are and seek to equip them with the skills and tools they need to navigate their world through a variety of services, including:
