ABOUT EASTERSEALS COLORADO

Established:  October 8, 1926

Mission:  Leading the way to full equity, inclusion, and access for people with disabilities, their families, and caregivers across Colorado by enhancing well-being, expanding employment, and elevating community.

Vision: A future where people with disabilities, their families, and caregivers ALL have the opportunity to thrive and fully participate in our communities.

Overview:  For the past 97 years, we have been providing direct services to Colorado residents who are affected by disability or health challenges. As a vital resource for all people with disabilities, older adults, and caregivers in rural and urban communities across the state, Easterseals Colorado provides programs and supports that enhance quality of life and create opportunities for greater independence.

Area Served:  Easterseals Colorado programs support not only the Denver metro area, but the entire state of Colorado.

Is Easterseals Colorado affiliated with Easterseals National? Yes.  Easterseals National and Easterseals Colorado are both guided by the principles of cooperation, innovation, and collaboration that are hallmarks of the nation’s work for people with disabilities. Easterseals Colorado maintains its own 501(c)(3) non-profit tax status.  Funds raised to Colorado support Colorado programming stays right here in Colorado.
