Easterseals Colorado (ESC) is pleased to announce that on Saturday, October 25, 2025, it will honor Ameristar Black Hawk and the Dave and Wendy Dennis Family with the Jake Jabs Community Impact Award at its Annual Gala, which will be held at Ameristar Black Hawk. The award – named in honor of American Furniture Warehouse founder Jake Jabs-- recognizes individuals and organizations who are making significant contributions to their community through their time, actions, talents, and dedication. The honorees have served as role models in demonstrating compassion, and service, and strive to change the way the world views and defines disability.
