The Climbing Tower Campaign

Let's Build Something Amazing Together

In celebration of Rocky Mountain Village's 75th anniversary we are reaching new heights and are asking for your support toward our Climbing Tower Campaign.

Every summer, Rocky Mountain Village campers discover courage they didn’t know they had. With your help, we can give them a brand‑new place to grow, explore, and climb toward their potential — a professionally built climbing tower designed for all ages and abilities.

It is expected that the climbing tower will not pass inspection in early 2027 before summer camp begins. The climbing tower is such a vital part of what we offer and one of the most loved activities among campers and includes access to the zip-line. It will take approximately six (6) months to complete the climbing tower once funds are raised.

A Safe, Modern Adventure Experience. The tower offers multiple climbing routes for all skill levels, ensuring every camper living with any disability can participate.

Skill‑Building for All Ages. Climbing teaches problem‑solving, perseverance, trust and teamwork, and physical strength and coordination. These are lessons that stay with campers long after camp ends.

A Centerpiece for Outdoor Fun. The climbing tower is a signature part of our camp — a place where friendships form, fears are overcome, and unforgettable memories are made.

Our Goal

Climb new heights with us and help Rocky Mountain Village raise $120,000 for its climbing tower. The funds raised will cover:

  • Design and Permitting
  • Construction and installation
  • Safety equipment and harnesses

Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to giving campers an experience they’ll never forget.

Type of Gifts We Accept

Cash. Cash contributions immediately benefit Rocky Mountain Village and may provide tax benefits to donors who itemize deductions. For your gift to Rocky Mountain Village Camp, you will receive an additional 50% state childcare tax credit.

Wire Transfer. Let us know if you would like to initiate a wire transfer for donation purposes and be provided with wire transfer instructions/information.

Appreciated Stock. Stocks or other investments that have grown in value and you have held for more than one year can become a substantial gift made at a low net cost to you. You receive a charitable deduction and avoid all federal capital gains tax that would otherwise be due on a sale of the assets. If you own securities worth less now than when you purchased them, sell them and contribute the proceeds.

IRA Charitable Rollover. Allows taxpayers age 70 ½ or older to transfer up to $100,000 annually from their IRA accounts directly to charity without first having to recognize the distribution as income.

Donor Advised Funds Real Estate. A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a type of giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to easily support your favorite charities. An increasingly popular charitable vehicle, DAFs are an excellent way to both simplify your charitable giving and facilitate your strategic philanthropic goals. Learn more by clicking HERE.
