Event Information

Attire is "Camp Chic". An idea of this for women could include a dress with boots, nice blue jeans and a fall sweater, and for men could include jeans, a button down shirt, a sweater, and an optional sport coat. The Bloom Room at Hudson Gardens will have walls that will insulate well against cooler night time temperatures, however, a jacket will likely be desired during Cocktail Hour, depending on the weather. 

Campfire & Cocktails was brought to life in 2021. It began as a dream amongst our summer staff while Camp Wojtyla summer programming was running. Our counselor's were itching for a reason to re-unite and serve Camp beyond their time up the mountain that summer, and to give parents an "Italian Night" experience like they gave the campers week after week. Italian Night is always the last night of Camp and includes a delicious Italian dinner made by our Sherpa staff, skits performed by the Sherpa, and usually dancing, laughter, and extreme joy from our campers. Of course, this event has always been something that Annie and Scott have dreamed about doing and our amazing summer counselors gave the Camp Staff the encouragement that was needed to make it happen. In 6 weeks, the venue and date were set and all the tickets had been sold for our first annual Campfire & Cocktails fundraiser! "Why Clouds", a band that was created that summer for an Italian Night in 2021, even committed to coming back to Colorado to play for our event and has come to play every year since! The evening was magical and was truly a night to be remembered. This event wouldn't be possible if it weren't for our generous sponsors, and our servant-hearted alumni who drive and fly from near and far to help us showcase this Mission year after year.
