Our annual Gear Up! Fundraiser supports Bicycle Colorado's vision of a safe and accessible Colorado for everyone who rides a bike. We've been advocating for people on bikes for over 30 years.
Our in-person fundraiser event on May 7th is focused on putting the “Fun” back in “Fundraising!” It is a high‑energy night of competition and connection to raise $100,000 for safer streets and better biking across Colorado. Hosted at The Local Drive, Stanley Marketplace–immersive golf sims, games, and social spaces, the event is curated for Colorado’s civic, business, and mobility leaders. Gear Up is built as an experiential fundraiser, not another ballroom dinner. Guests will be treated to games, drinks, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and dessert.
We're also launching our Gear Up! online auction a week ahead of the party, with great items available for anyone to bid on. You don't have to register for the in-person party to bid online—see the ticketing page for the online-auction-only ticket option.
When: Thursday, May 7, 2026 | 6-8:30 pm

Think "fun and festive!" This is a great chance to get out of your Lycra and have a fun Thursday night out, but don't feel that you need to dress to the nines.
Enjoy a variety of hors d'oeuvres, complimentary beer, wine, and soft drinks, and dessert.
We suggest using Google Maps to find directions to the Stanley Marketplace using a mode of your choice. Doors for Gear Up! will be open at 6 p.m. The Westerly Creek Trail comes directly to the Stanley Marketplace. You can plan your route through Denver's Interactive Bike Project Map.
If you ride your bike to the event, there is a bike rack at the north side of the building. Additionally, there are individual bike lock points around the perimeter of the building. You will want to bring a secure lock for your bike.
Parking is always free at Stanley Marketplace. Surface lots are located on the north, east, and south sides of the building. During peak hours or special events, if the lots are full, additional street parking is available nearby on 25th Ave, 26th Ave, Clinton St., and Dallas St.
