Our annual Gear Up! Fundraiser supports Bicycle Colorado's vision of a safe and accessible Colorado for everyone who rides a bike. We've been advocating for people on bikes for over 30 years.
On June 3, our in-person Gear Up! event—the best bike party in town—will celebrate all of the benefits that bicycling brings to Colorado, and support Bicycle Colorado's continued efforts to make it easier and safer for everyone in the state to access those benefits. The party will include a live auction full of items bicyclists will be sure to love, and guests will be treated to drinks, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and a sit-down dessert.
We're also launching our Gear Up! online auction a week ahead of the party, with even more items available for anyone to bid on. You don't have to register for the in-person party to bid online—see the ticketing page for the online auction-only ticket option. We encourage online auction participants to make an additional donation to support our continued bike advocacy.

What to Wear
Think "fun and festive!" This is a great chance to get out of your Lycra and have a fun Tuesday night out, but don't feel that you need to dress to the nines.
Food and Drink
Enjoy a variety of hors d'oeuvres, complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks, and a seated dessert.
Arriving at the Event
We suggest using Google Maps to find directions to the Joy Burns Center using a mode of your choice. Doors for Gear Up! will be open at 6 p.m.
Bike Parking
There will be bike parking. Bring a secure lock for your bike!
Parking
Street parking is available and paid parking is available in the garage next to the Joy Burns Center.
Transit
To reach the Joy Burns Center in Denver using public transit, you can utilize the Regional Transportation District (RTD) bus system.

The online auction runs from May 28, 2025 at 12 pm to June 3, 2025 at 8:30 pm.
