Snowcat skiing and riding with Steamboat Powdercats is a unique experience, one that may reward you with the best, on snow day, of your life. Conveniently located just 25 minutes from downtown Steamboat Springs and the Steamboat Ski Area, Buffalo Pass is known as Colorado’s deepest annual snowpack and has a multitude of north, south, east and west facing zones. Combine this with the famous Champagne Powder® that we are blessed with in Northwest Colorado and we couldn’t have asked for a better location to offer up the Steamboat Powdercats experience.
Your trip for one includes:
- Use of our Armada Locator powder skis and Never Summer Swift or Big Gun snowboards
- BCA Tracker S avalanche beacons, shovel and probe
- Light breakfast snack/hot beverages in the morning; snacks and lunch
- Courtesy shuttle to and from your lodging to our office and up to Buffalo Pass
- A photographer capturing the magic on 2-3 runs. $5 per image or $50 for full download of all images.
- Post trip party at our office
- Full day. Good for March 2025. 8 – 16 runs. 8,000 – 14,000 vertical feet per day.
