Top o’ The Mornin’ Lads n’ Lassies, 

We are so excited to announce that Easterseals Colorado (ESC) and the Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade are joining forces in a new partnership! With that, we are looking far and wide for volunteers to help us represent ESC on Saturday March 16th as we paint the town green!

This partnership will allow for ESC to gather an array of local media attention as well as place us physically in front of 400,000+ people. Imagine the awareness we could bring to ESC and our programs!

At an event such as this, volume speaks louder. The more volunteers that sign up, the greater chance we will have at bringing more media attention and the potential to collect donations.

I am also working on gathering donations to cover the costs of shirts, food and beverages, and general expenses for event logistics, as well as partners that would be willing to provide/lend any of the following items:

Decorations to spruce up the Easterseals Vans that will be used in the parade route

Beads / Other “Handouts” (things to give to folks that make a donation)

St. Patricks Day Accessories for Clients & Volunteers

Sound System to place in van

Power Source for Sound System on a van

Date: Saturday March 16th, 2023

Official Parade Start Time: 9:30am

Length of Parade Route: around 2 miles

ESC Volunteer Meet Up: 8:00am-8:30am

• You’ll check-in to collect your T-shirt, garner volunteer assignment opportunities, and have time to meet others in our group. Breakfast Burritos and Beverages will be provided!

ESC Volunteer Meet Up Location: TBD

After the parade, our good friends at Mile High Spirits (MHS) will be hosting a fun event at their distillery right around the corner from the parade route! Bring yourself and all your friends, if you have any energy left of course. MHS will be making a donation to ESC based on bar sales! Mile High Spirits is located at 2201 Lawrence Street, Denver, CO 80205.
