For The Love Of 2024

The For The Love Of The Arts Auction & Gala is an online silent auction culminating in a live event that celebrates all of the creative and artistic things happening at Laramie County Community College. 

The online auction begins on Monday, September 2nd, with an online auction filled with art created by artists and writers with ties to Laramie County Community College.  LCCC and the Cheyenne community are filled with talented, creative individuals and we are thrilled to feature so many of them in our auction. The online auction will run through 8:00 pm on Saturday, September 7th.

A live, ticketed event  on September 7, 2024 and  will welcome attendees to the incredible Surbrugg Prentice Auditorium on LCCC's campus for an evening of hors d'oeuvres, wine & beer bar, and live jazz from The Thistle Tones, who will perform romantic jazz standards so guests can dance the night away under the stars or simply sit back, relax and enjoy the music. A selection of the art from the online auction will be on display for attendees to see in person.

Registering and bidding in the online auction is free - tickets to the September 7th event are $30 for individuals and $50 for couples. Each ticket includes an entry to the  event, heavy hors d'oeuvres and dessert, wine & beer bar, and access to exclusive silent auction items. 

All proceeds from this event will benefit the Communication & Creative Arts Pathway Endowment at the LCCC Foundation. This endowment creates opportunities for students to explore career opportunities in the arts by connecting them with professionals in their field of study, supporting internship opportunities, and funding other career and educational support for students.
