About the Cobalt Gala
Nothing should stand between you and your health decisions, which is why Cobalt is dedicated to fighting for systems, structures and policies that protect reproductive rights and guarantee comprehensive, universal access to reproductive healthcare, including abortion. Cobalt will host our annual Gala of 700+ influential changemakers on Saturday, April 5th, 2025 at the Fillmore Auditorium.
Why 2025
In November, we affirmed the right to abortion in Colorado’s Constitution and expanded insurance coverage for abortion procedures to hundreds of thousands of Coloradans in the public sector. This is evidence of what we’ve already known to be true: Coloradans, regardless of their political affiliation, want to keep politicians out of their exam rooms, and the freedom to make the health care decisions that are best for them.
And yet, the thing we feared also came true – Donald Trump once again won the presidency. His platform, Project 2025, among other things represents the threat of an abortion ban, elimination of LGBTQ+ rights, mass deportations, increased surveillance and the expansion of dangerous rhetoric with overwhelming consequences. What we do next is critical.
While we may all feel powerless right now, we aren’t without power. The Cobalt Gala, as our premier fundraising event and signature branding opportunity, plays a pivotal role in ensuring that we are able to meet this critical moment.
Proceeds from this event support Cobalt's political and organizing goals in Colorado.
