Morrow Point Reservoir, located at the headwaters of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, is a remote and rarely fished stretch of water filled with amazing scenery. Located eleven miles down-river from Blue Mesa Dam, this hydro-dam grows big fish that love to bite! The Morrow Point guide trip is permitted, owned, and operated by the Lake Fork Marina – the only guide service on the reservoir - making this a highly coveted outing that is very hard to come by.
Up to six (6) people will join one of the best guides in the area to fish for kokanee salmon, rainbows, lake trout, brookies, and cutthroat. Catch all five in a day and it’s an “MP Grand Slam”! Considered by many as the best fishing tour in Colorado, this trip is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a must-do for the avid sportsman or woman.
The trip includes a full day of fishing with up to eight (8) hours on the water, all the necessary fishing equipment, coolers of ice and drinking water, and cleaning and bagging of the day’s catch. Please note that your guide’s wages and gratuity, totaling approximately $250, are not included in this package.
